Background

Gord was raised on a family farm near Sexsmith, Alberta. He received his Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction from the University of Alberta with majors in marketing and finance. He attended the Law School at the University of Alberta. He obtained his Articles in Edmonton Alberta with a mid-sized law firm specializing in litigation and municipal law. He moved back to Grande Prairie in 1995 to join the firm of Lewis & Chrenek where he has remained for his entire legal career. Gord has a general business law practice providing a broad range of legal services with a corporate and commercial focus. Gord maintains a diverse business client base throughout the Peace Country including but not limited to corporations, partnerships and individuals in the oilfield and agricultural sectors. Gord and his family are active supporters of many community events and Peace Country initiatives and proudly calls the Peace Country his home.

Background 

Tyler grew up in the small town of Fairview, Alberta, graduating from Fairview High School with honors. From there, he moved to Edmonton and attended the University of Alberta graduating from the Faculty of Business with distinction. Tyler continued his studies at the University of Alberta obtaining his law degree in 2001. After a year of articling with a mid-size firm in Edmonton, Tyler was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta as a practicing member in 2002. In 2003 Tyler returned to the Peace Country and began his tenure with Lewis & Chrenek LLP as an associate, becoming a partner with the firm a few short years later.

Background 

Jocelyn Innes was born in Grande Prairie. She studied commerce at the University of Victoria prior to completing her law degree at the University of Alberta in 2008. Jocelyn articled and practiced in Edmonton with one of the oldest and most respected firms in the province prior to returning to her hometown in 2010. In 2010, Jocelyn joined the law firm, Innes Law Office. She practiced with her father, Gordon R. Innes, Q.C. for two years prior to taking over the law firm in 2012. Jocelyn merged Innes Law with Lewis & Chrenek LLP as of January 1, 2015. Jocelyn’s practice focuses on real estate and family law. Jocelyn has published papers for the Legal Education Society of Alberta in both areas and has been published for a family law topic in The Barrister – Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association.

Background 

Stéphane grew up in Edmonton, Alberta. He received a Bachelor of Commerce with distinction from the University of Alberta where he was involved in student politics particularly at the Campus Saint Jean, the French campus of the U of A. He studied law at the University of Ottawa in his second language of French. At the U of O he was involved with the RECLEF, a group that advocated for linguistic rights of French speaking students at the U of O. Stéphane has a general practice and works in the areas of corporate commercial law, civil litigation, real estate, family law and wills and estates. He also volunteers as a member of Grande Prairie Legal Guidance.

Stephanie has worked for the Law Society of Upper Canada in Ontario as a project coordinator for the Law Practice Program. Stephanie is currently articling at Lewis & Chrenek.
